"The advantage of living in the ancient city is that you can better experience the original ecology. After all, the new store opened not long ago~ It is one of the few B&Bs that can provide breakfast. Breakfast consists of refreshing cold dishes and steamed buns, which is quite popular among everyone~ The only drawback is the paper towels in the room~ The quality of toothbrushes needs to be improved~"

"Hands down one of the best hostels I've experienced on my journey. The interior decor is full of authentic ethnic charm. The common areas are spacious and bright, making it a great spot to mingle with fellow travelers from all corners of the world. There are plenty of clean restrooms and showers, and the cleaning staff are very diligent. It's also the first hostel I've stayed at that offers complimentary breakfast, with the staff preparing delicious naan, eggs, and milk – a truly thoughtful and attentive touch. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Kashgar!"

"Wow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! The room has a reasonable layout, is spacious and comfortable, and gives people a home-like feeling (compared to the room I stayed in a few days ago, I can finally put my suitcases in it). "Average, not cost-effective? We originally decided on the style of the B&B based on the pictures, and also thought it would be closer to the east gate of the ancient city of Kashgar. However, we were told that 2 of the 4 rooms we booked had bathrooms outside the house. This would definitely affect privacy and there was something wrong with the design of the house. . Then I moved to another B&B, also owned by the same owner. The room was small, the location of the sockets was unreasonable and difficult to use, and the water in the bathroom was not flowing smoothly. After taking a shower, it was flooded with water and it was impossible to get in. Noisy at night, no soundproofing, all kinds of noise affects sleep. The small courtyard on the first floor is a bit unique, so I was too lazy to take pictures."

"It was my first time to visit the ancient city of Kashgar. I booked a homestay online in advance. The owner personally picked me up at the gate of the ancient city. He was warm and thoughtful. The pictures on the Internet are exactly the same as the pictures I actually stayed in. The environment is clean and sanitary, and the decoration is very ethnic. Especially the terrace on the fourth floor, you can watch the stars and drink tea at night, and there are pigeons flying in the sky during the day. It is also very convenient to go shopping in the ancient city. Going out is Id Kah, walking on the left is Han Bazaar, and on the right are all Internet celebrity check-in places. "Perfect location above the lively old town main food street with nicely decorated, spacious rooms and a balcony where it is easy to relax and people watch on the street below. Fast WiFi too, and a powerful aircon unit. Definitely recommended. We liked it so much we returned for a second, longer stay. (Note that being in the pedestrian-only old city you can’t drive directly to the hotel but it’s only 5 minutes walk from the nearest taxi drop-off and about 10 minutes walk from public parking.)"

"It was a very satisfying living experience. The boss was easygoing and friendly. I also liked the style of the room. There was no peculiar smell, it was very clean, and it was very comfortable to live in. Frankly speaking, this was the most comfortable place I stayed in during my two-week trip to Xinjiang. It had the cleanliness and tidiness of a hotel, but with some human touch, like visiting a friend's home. The most important thing was that I met a little puppy who liked me and I liked him very much too. Next time I come to Xinjiang, I will stay at his house again and visit my little friend."

"Simple, clean, comfortable stay in Kashgar. Loved my time in the city and this accommodation was good all-round. I was able to check in early on my arrival which really helped. Location is ok, not excellent - it's a 25 minute walk from the entrance to the old town, with some shops etc in between, but taxis are super cheap here so it was easy enough to get around quickly. All in all, very good value for money."
